The class came to an abrupt halt as the teacher echoed brutally across the room, the shrill tone was enough to leave a haunting memory in the mind of any child. Trouble was on the way, you could bet your bottom dollar on it. He ran from the room very quickly, sprinting down the corridor and bolted for the front door. He was being chased by a gang of staff as he burst from the building and leapt proudly down the steps. A shout echoed out in the distance and like that he was gone. 

Malka Tuti have just released a new album from Tapan in the form of "Europa". A release dedicated to and inspired by events in 2015 & 2016, which saw the spectre of global crisis come knocking at Europe’s doorstep.

Created by Binda and Sam Berdah in November 2010, this duo from Metz has been consistantly rising through the French electronic scene for the past years or so with dates at the Social Club (Paris), the Melusina (Luxembourg) playing alongside Mein Disco and Yuksek, as well as at the Rafiot (Strasbourg).

They have recently caught the attention of demanding DJs and producers Chloé and Daniel Avery with a collection of slow grinding edits (notably Kraftwerk's The Robots).

Their eclectic sets oscillate between House and Techno and are often sweetened with Soul and Funk. From all time classics to the newest, most contemporary electro tracks, Binda and Sam Berdah stand out with original and sophisticated mixes.  Club Bizarre refers to themselves as "music diffusers", and between two "tours de piste".

Cloud Wanderer is the wonderful new track from Mens Aperta on Rugged Society Records, a fluid dream house odyssey with what sounds like Mongolian throat singing holding together a mid-paced melodic piece of music which ruffles the senses like that first glimpse of the sun you felt on those holidays you were taken on when you were little more than a child. 
Gorgeous pads, a slow arpeggio and reverb fill up the sound register and sooth the soul before a polite kick drum beckons you to shuffle your feet in a dance music experience which is comfortably left of centre, taking you to the edge of the comfort zone and back again. 
This slow paced sunriser reaches the inner sanctum of the soul with sensual rhythms, the sweetest melodies and a natural beauty which stays with you long after it's 6 and a half minute playing time. A perfect track to either start or end the evening with.

Cape Perpetua is a thing of beauty.

Sordid Sound System has taken his unique, raw, dub-infused sonic vision to a new level. With 'Cape Perpetua' we travel dem spaceways to a place that seems to grow more beautiful by the second; a textured, melodic, blissful interplanetary landscape where further words fail. From here Sascha Funke manages to take the controls and steer the mission on a futuristic space odyssey that's as urgent as it is blissful. Faint background signals of the original remain but are violently ejected from the airlock by the most synthetic, syncopated sounds the human ear has ever been exposed to. Flip over and we're straight into 'It's About Time'. This one is equally high octane ..... but this time of the afro-tinted psychedelic surf punk variety. If you aren't dancing to this you're probably dead. No rest for the wicked, however....because before we manage to get our precise bearings and a firm grasp of what just happened the acid techno space rock of 'Pneumonia Gulch' kicks in and takes us to places Hawkwind could only have dreamed of. Respite soon follows when the seductive voice of Eva Geist transports us to yet another beautiful paradise. Slowly it dawns on us that we're now in a dimension elsewhere entirely. Mind boggling. Nothing comes close. If you were to take a cockatil of mandrake, opium, LSD, ecstasy and a variety of amphetamines in the company of the heavenly host, the cosmic machine elves and a group of your best human friends with access to every instrument you ever wanted you would only know the half of it. This takes a very twisted, talented, mystic mind to come up with. I'm sure of it.

Let's open the doors to a whole new world.

A new world where the bastard love child of Tangerine Dream, Hardfloor, Sun Ra and The Gun Club rules supreme.
