Reppin  the sound of underground Miami bass / breaks / electro / house .Saved up for my first sampler when I was 18 years old ,an ensoniq ASR 10 . Started producing without a computer at first. We used to use mini disk to record on. In early 2000 I got a Mac and learned Logic Pro .Forward to today , Quality music is what matters most and is what I love .

I am lifelong learner and lover of the dance music scene since my Breakbeat days in Orlando in the early 90s. I like to believe I am proof you are never too old to learn something new and living your best life comes in many forms. I am “genre fluid” and play from the heart. I am all about the journey and hope you enjoy the ride.

Currently signed on with en:vision (UK), ElectroBreakz, Toast & Jam, and his own Funky Bat Records label for music production. 

Originally from Chicago, Confusion moved to South Florida and grew up in the underground music scene there where he began DJing in 1996. Now residing just outside of Seattle, he has teamed up with ekb* to form Funky Bat Records producing their own flavor of music and art. www.funkybatrecords.comConfusion, as a multi genre DJ, plays styles such as Breakbeat, Electro, Drum & Bass, House, or anything well produced that vibes! His influences range from Miami Bass, 80's Freestyle, Heavy Metal, Alternative, Chicago Blues, and Funk.

He is currently the Breakbeat Music Ambassador with the #1 dance music radio station Vibe 99.7 FM in Las Vegas.

Confusion rocked the stage alongside the biggest names in music over the past 29 years across North America, and key events at Miami's Winter Music Conference/Miami Music Week. You have seen him at major festivals such as Zen, Era, Shambhala, and Ultra Music Festival.

Dj Cirkuit has been spinning tracks since the 80s and is still spinning them today.

Love the breaks and D&B....might play dub on occasion..been collecting vinyl since about 97. Got over 500 currently. Running the wheels with traktor 4 for my digital stuff too. Like rocking the wheels when at home or my S4 controller when I'm out and about for the portability of it. Definitely not breaking my music room apart to bring the wheels anywhere. Looking for some gigs in the VA area. Would be nice to get out and 🔥  it down somewhere and share my love of music with everyone.

DJ-Pipes is the brainchild of Joshua Pipes, a long-time DJ and producer who has charted as high as number 1 on the Beatport breaks and UK garage charts. His style is a unique blend of breaks, house, and speed garage.  He is always trying to push the boundaries and blur the lines of genres in dance music!
