Co-founder of BinarySound and Antam Records, Antoine Sy has been making huge leaps in the progression of the French scene. His touch can be heard on a wide range of records on his own labels and other respected imprints that include Partisan and Pachinko with countless others in the works. With his BinarySound already being over 10 years deep his influence in the Euro community cannot be overstated enough. 

Having been on our radar for some time we are thrilled to finally present his mix for our InSession series. Throughout the hour-long run time Antoine draws on his French house roots and packages this neatly alongside his own electro moods and disco flecked elements. The result is a funk filled journey through the sounds that ignite the dancefloor when Antoine is at the controls. One for the sunkissed sessions that this talented selector is often charged with blowing up.

Polish DJ and producer Gogan gets back with vinyl-only "Ride On" EP on his own label Kooky. Side A of the record offers the title track which is a more than seven-minute journey into raw and a bit smoky but well-crafted minimal with a house feeling. The composition is nicely counterbalanced with more rounded, detail-oriented, and dancefloor-friendly remix by Lizz. Side B offers 2 more original tracks by Gogan, where the producer openly experiments with a few genres, intelligently searching for a fresh blend of breakbeat, house, minimal or electro ("In a Perfect World"), at the same time not losing focus on minimal and techy house ("Me and You") in which he definitely feels the most confident.

Part of the Outcast Torino crew, Alex Dima honed his craft within the parties that this collective and their extended family have been throwing for some time. As a result of these long sessions Alex has now burst out of his native scene and onto the world circuit. Having already traversed many of Europes must attend parties and venues, he has now made the move to set up shop in Amsterdam where maintains his regular appearances at the finest parties. As well as his touring schedule bursting at the seams, his discography is also in a state of bloom. With his co-ran imprint Coordinate Records gathering pace, Alex peppers this with solo efforts of his own with the future retro four-tracker “Metamorphosis” EP on LAMAIA coming up soon.

Turning our attention back to turntables and Alex has conjured up a near 2 hour trip for our InSession series. With the soundscape taking shape across the full run time of his mix, there are more than a few twists and turns to be found along the way as the full spectrum of his musical reach continues to unfold. From the percussive beginnings, Alex soon shifts through the gears which stops off at synth heavy house, bass focused electro, vintage breaks, and pretty much everything in between. ALT Records is excited to announce the release of its fifth record, a dynamic new EP titled Exercise in Futility by the talented Uruguayan DJ and producer, Jorge Gamarra. This three-track EP is a powerful showcase of Jorge's unique ability to blend driving techno rhythms with electro elements, infused with irresistibly catchy melodies.

Jorge Gamarra, originally from Uruguay and now based in Barcelona, has been a prominent figure in the electronic music scene since the late 2000s. His early influences from Chicago, Detroit, the UK, and Montevideo's underground scene have shaped his distinct sound, which continues to evolve with each release. Since moving to Barcelona in 2014, Jorge has co-founded his first label, SUR, and in 2020, launched his own label, Coming From... Returning To....

Exercise in Futility exemplifies Jorge’s evolved production style, with each track offering a unique journey through sound. Mastered by Keith Tenniswood, the EP is designed to captivate dancefloors while staying true to Jorge's deep-rooted influences and innovative approach to electronic music.

To continue our LP series, this time we are welcoming back Δ which will mark a second full album on the label. The mysterious dirty D has prepared a 9-track LP to once again showcase his ability to be able to immerse himself in the mystic of the electronic groove. To have this artist come up for the label once again with the biggest work to date is an incredible honor and the testament to the synergy of older sound and newer that aims be a powerful tale on the modern dancefloor. “Garbage World” is what the story is about, provoking a thought of the population that made it this way with their over consumption, greed and neglection of the beautiful things that deserve love and care in life. Our globe that induced a great level of pain due to its inhabitants and still manages to hold it together despite bleeding profoundly. This has been illustrated by the art of our visual guru Geka in the style of the art of tattoo. The LP is not guaranteed to fix it, but for sure should make it a little bit better in right hands and minds.
