TM Shuffle is more than just a name in the international dub techno scene. The Finnish producer, DJ, and head of VUO Records has a rare talent for distilling the essence of depth, space, and rhythm into his productions. His music is infused with a hypnotic pulse that doesn’t shout loudly but tells stories subtly – of snow-covered landscapes, quiet nights, and an unwavering love for electronic music. What sets TM Shuffle apart is his uncompromising dedication to reduction. His musical philosophy is not about quantity but quality: less is more. By deliberately limiting himself, he becomes more creative – digging deep, searching intentionally for the right sound, and developing a distinct musical signature. This principle is evident not only in his productions but also in his thoughtfully crafted, driving DJ sets.

He shares this passion off stage as well: as the label head of VUO Records, he provides a platform for other artists who share his vision of dub techno – raw, organic, and timeless.

In a personal conversation with Andre Kronert, TM Shuffle offers insight into his creative workflow and studio philosophy. In a world of unlimited possibilities, he consciously relies on a minimalist setup: turntables, a mixer, a few select synthesizers, drum machines, and a computer for sequencing. With heart, vinyl, and an unmistakable energy, Sabine Hoffmann has been shaping Berlin’s club scene since the early 2000s. Her musical roots run deep in hip-hop, soul, and funk – but it was her passion for electronic sounds that ultimately defined her artistic journey. Sabine’s love for the analog world is felt in every one of her sets. Through her pure vinyl performances, she creates sonic journeys spanning techno, electro, Chicago and Detroit house, infused with acid, funk, and breakbeats.

As the founder of the event series "Frauengedeck," she provides a platform for female DJs – not only in legendary Berlin venues like ://about blank, Salon zur wilden Renate, and the Kantine am Berghain, but also internationally, from Armenia to Georgia. Since 2016, Sabine has been a vital part of the OYE Records team, curating club events, in-store performances, and hosting the OYE podcast series.

In her interview with Andre Kronert, Sabine opens up about thrilling moments before her sets, the origin stories and heartfelt missions behind her event series "Frauengedeck" and "Dub Nation," her early encounters with electronic music – and of course, her deep passion for vinyl. For Sabine, DJing is about more than just technique: it’s about feeling – and sometimes, that means letting a needle jump if it keeps the music alive and raw.
