One of best from the 1995 sessions at Closer Look.
Dawn and I really hated seeing all the trendy kids dressed like hippies all over and vented this witty little satire. 2 points each if you can name the movies I pulled my samples from!
Tyler pulled the bass lines for this and "Things Are Not Always As They Seem" out in one take! Sick. I love the sound of a fret-less bass guitar. Mark Owen was writing the guitar parts faster than we could ever imagine. He really is talented and was only 16 years old when he played this. He is now a engineer at Dangerous Music in New York.

This was a hold over from a demo tape the previous year. Dawn and I always wanted to re-record this to it's full potential. I decided during the mastering stage to add this on as a bonus track. It was mastered by Tommy Wiggins.  Tommy had a huge rotating leslie which I made great use of reading secret messages to would be listeners in between the two tracks. Thanks to Perry Ferrell for in sight.

These are some more live jams from 2004. I was making a lot of ambient stuff with a MPC2000XL controlling my synths. I really had my hands full jumping around the room from one synth to another. I was really in "spaced out" mood then and I think it really comes across in these tracks. In3PartsisHERbrain was my first recording of live percussion using my Roland Hand Sonic. No quantization there, just beating the sucker to death and tweaking my new toy out. Enjoy!
