I literally wrote this song after binging the show Pen15.  I had no real intention to write it, it just started happening and I attribute it to that show (You should watch it, it's about middleschool girls in the 90s and early 2000s).

Weird Girl - Pen15 inspired

This song was made as a musical metaphor for what it feels like being in pain.  I have an autoimmune condition called "Ankylosing Spondylitis" which causes joint and tissue inflammation and pain when the disease is active.  This song embodies my interpretation on what the feeling of pain sounds like.  Produced by Mikheil Rusishvili (Mikheil Music) from the country of Georgia with his unique dark/alt-pop synths and progressive sound design, this song surely stands out from the crowd.  Coupled with my haunting vocal effects rhythms and harmonies, this song describes the depths of hell one can go to, while also simultaneously fighting for freedom and wellbeing.   Mastered by Boston's David Schockett of "Puppet Life Music." Creative support and collaboration with Charles Brouder of "Moonrocks" from Portland Maine.

Climbing down rocks with my hiking boots!  Whether the woods of Maine or Ukraine, the woods are a sacred and healing place that we can all go to for healing and refuge. This song is also about the concept of LOVING your homeland and the natural beauty and locations all around you.  Made in both Maine and Ukraine by two artist friends who care about the Earth and connecting to their homeland and to nature.  I also hope to raise awareness of the dangers that the Ukraine war has over the woodlands and nature of Ukraine.  The effects have been devistating.  I urge you to share this article above to raise as much awareness as possible as to the destructive outcomes of war.

This is lyrically experienced as rip tides pulling you into an ocean, and sinking down with the sharks to find something deeper on the bottom of the ocean despite fearing the dark creatures here. I hope you enjoy this unique indie EDM composition, with psy-trance influences that facilitate this underwater journeying. This will be followed by an album based on the theme of shadow work. This song is about freeing oneself from addictions. In the song an addiction is described and thereafter characterized by "Violet," in dialogue with ones higher wise-self. Ultimately Violet is unsure she can let go of what binds her, but ultimately what is truly needed is to sit still in one's blood, to allow one's wounds to be, and to no longer fill the wounds with false medicine that does not allow it to scab over and heal. This alternative electro-pop bop is a moon and heart infused spell to banish illusion. Join this dark fairytale journey with me as “Up and Down” takes us through the harsh grimey, sounds of the forest of illusions, to the magical Disney-esque soundscapes of a heart portal, where the truth is once again rediscovered. Steeped in childlike wonder, with a pg-13 turn, this song can certainly capture the Snow White’s within all of us, who really need no prince to wake up from the spell. A release that’s like a cross between the dark pop of Taylor Swift and Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake,” I’d like to think Grimes, Aurora, and Lorde would sing along to this pleasant spell.
