Beavering away on their debut EP for the best part of a year, Cabana are a 3 piece indie rock band made up of 18 year olds Avi & Nushi and their best friend, a 17-year-old veteran of the game - Gab Strum (Japanese Wallpaper). They kick it together a lot in the South side of Melbourne, but you probably won't find them in the mall, or the beach, it's much more likely however, that you'll find them crammed into studio spaces across the city, making music since as far back as they can remember. In The Morning

Fragments is a mixtape of ideas that were never finished to a typical song structure. This is partly due to Parks Department’s inability to finish the task at hand, but also their ambitions for experimentation and trial and error. Featuring heavy use of processed live instrumentation, iPhone recordings and hard rubbish finds, the sound focuses on the more eclectic side of electronic music, whilst still upholding a pop mentality and danceable nature.
