The Price We Pay

Album track from 'DIVE!' (out 5 June), written and sung by bassist Allan Wiseman, featuring lead guitar by christopher rye (who also produced the song). Band trivia: christopher added (and sang) the line "but not for me!" as his response to hearing the title was "NO IT ISN'T!" Unusually, the gorgeous sounding lead guitar was recorded using a Chapman ML3 instead of christopher's Strat.

This track evokes the energy of ancient ceremonies, where desire burns, the soul stirs, and the rhythm pulls you into a trance. Flutes cry in the wind, voices rise from the ground, and the night becomes alive with movement and magic.
