July 2001 Electrypnose project was born... 20years later, a small family event was organized to celebrate. 2 sets were played, one in the afternoon evolving with the happier side of the music project... A second one in the night going in the deeper side... both sets were recorded and made available here, showcasing the most recent work done along with some older classics :)

There was 1h of chill music played before this recording, but it was very similar to older chill sets already available, I decided to take this part off the recording

(there is some saturation on this record by clipping the zoom recorder.. sorry about that)

As summer's fading, this is something different. It was such a pleasure delving into my playlists from the sublime Tunes in the Dunes sessions, hosted by the Glorious Oyster in Instow. 

It's as much for listening to as having a li'l shimmy. It certainly ticked all the boxes as the sun set over the sea on numerous occasions this summer.

Part of my set at Het Ballonnenfeest 28-12-22 in Amsterdam, at times I was accompanied by the live drums of BeatuniQue.

It's no secret that I was a resident DJ for many years in Amsterdam at restaurants, lounge places, bars, hotels, and coffeeshops, so I have tones of World Music, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Groovy Beats, Deep House and House which I hardly get to play nowadays. So when I was invited to play the closing set of the backstage area from my alternative collection of music, I couldn't wait for it!

On the Way to Daad Gathering 2023 is also BALADI aka Balint Boldizsar, a young Budapest based DJ and producer who makes music without boundaries from gipsy music to raw electronica. His goal is to make people forget everything when they're on the dancefloor, and to concentrate only on the frequencies, making them free from negativity, and to be as crazy as can be! About this set, Baladi says: "This mix was made to give a taste about what could happen in my set on the Dragon Nest, also to give a preview of some of my unreleased tracks, one from SolSelectas and also a Remix for my friends, Labek & Chrobak who'll also play on DAAD. See you there!"

On The Way To Daad Gathering 2023 is CORD. Cord's early success came with his breakbeat releases on Hungary's legendary Chi Recordings. However, as he continued to grow and experiment, he ventured into more psychedelic and experimental genres. With a refined music creation toolset and process, Cord's Maktub EP was born under the courtesy of Merkaba Music in 2020. Later he continued to create his own unique sound by mixing different types of organic psy-tech, infused with the original Cord vibes. This resulted in his latest release, Solstice EP on Shamanic Records in 2023. It features counterpointing motives, rhythmic structures, eastern melodies, and interesting sounds that tell a story with a long, progressing arrangement. Cord's music is always spiced up with mind-tickling sounds, bouncing and driving with strong melodic elements, twisted arps, and synth lines. About this set, Cord says: "Going through some moments which touched me in the last few years including tracks from the latest release on Shamanic Tales. Specially selected targeting the Cooking Groove vibe."

Homage to Electrypnose Sound Universe and like minded Friends

A zene felemel ,a zene letesz ,a zene elringat. Kikapcsol, elenged,lebegtet. A zene végigkísér az életemben. A zene felülkerekedik az érzelmeken, irányítani, befolyásolni tudja azokat.  Talán ezért is kezdtem el DJ-zni 2017-ben, mert szerettem volna átadni azokat az érzelmeket másoknak, melyek bennem ébredtek egy- egy szám hallatán. Szívemhez legközelebb az ethnohaus,folktronica,world zenei stílusok állnak, ezek az én lüktetésem.

Szeretek visszanyúlni a gyökerekhez, keverni a régit és az újat, ezért szettjeimben gyakran tribal- ethno- folk elemeket olvasztok be chill,deep,haus és egyéb zenei környezetbe.

Music lifts you up, music puts you down, music sways you. It turns off, lets go, floats. Music accompanies me throughout my life. Music overcomes emotions, it can control and influence them. Maybe that's why I started DJing in 2017, because I wanted to convey to others the emotions that arose in me when I heard a song. Ethnohaus, folktronica, world music styles are closest to my heart, they are my pulse.

I like to go back to my roots, mix the old and the new, so in my sets I often mix tribal-ethno-folk elements into chill, deep, house and other musical environments.
