As summer is here, VIRDU drops his summer magical song 'Chasin' You'. The tropical house song, inspired by the likes of kygo, is signed to record label Outertone. His composed piece from Logic Pro X has divided tropical house into a new direction and VIRDU is keen on expressing house in the many ways it can be formed.

With this song being available for free, it will also be on streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, and Beatport. He feels that signing with Outertone and allowing the song to go to Spotify will benefit his career in a positive way. He really hopes you enjoy his latest track, and is excited for what is to come in the near future.

It's here, the next official single from VIRDU. After the long wait, he finally announces his latest single 'Want You'.

I think  what brought my song 'Want You' to what it is, is the equal amount of organic instruments, blended in with heavy EDM layered sounds. Dance music is changing, and so I wanted to stand out, so I combined super-saws, plucks and other sounds with pianos and other Asian elements you hear. Furthermore, it wouldn't be a VIRDU song, without some vocal slices. 

I actually made this track on new years eve. I remember sharing a preview on snapchat, and the feedback I received ensured I didn't leave this project in the bin, and that I HAD to release it. I could tell, that this song would do well. Not only from the feedback, but also from when I listened back, it brought... well just a smile to my face, and that's what I want from all my singles to do to you guys, to make you feel... happy :)

We've come along way with this project, and often I don't really like to look back at it, because it's kinda scary. I mean I've been producing for a year and a bit, and the success we have had is unreal, and there's so much more coming you won't believe it. 

I'm honestly useless at everything apart from music. It's kind of all I have. This one dream, and it's taken me far. Not only has it given me hope for the future, but it has made me realise who I am, not only as a producer, but as a person. It has changed the way I see life and how I go about my everyday business. This, is all thanks to you guys. 

Thank you, for supporting and believing in me. It means alot to me. I know you're reading this, wondering if I mean it, and fuck yes I mean every word I type. I love every single one of you that follows my socials, listens to my music or even recommends me to a friend. I love you all.

With summertime approaching, VIRDU releases his latest tropical house song 'Palm'.

As we were approaching summertime, I couldn't resist making another tropical / deep house song, as it brought back so many memories. 

After sharing 'Chasin' You' and 'Lights', it was time I showed you my third deep house song, which for me, is my most favourite one. I always know when a song is finished, as I often feel somewhat excited to render and release it. Many of my friends and family agreed too, and they were all hyping me to release this.

Not going to lie, this song wasn't exactly easy to craft. I had the foundations build up, however, half way through I had really bad producer block, alongside school exams to do. All these delayed the song further and further back until I eventually forgot about it. By some coincidence though, while scattering through my unfinished projects, I found this. 

The hardest part for me, was to make the sax, which you hear in the second half of the track. With all VIRDU songs I want to combine a mixture of organic sounding elements, with electronic sounds. The sax however, wasn't working for me. A lesson to take home, isn't to give in though, because eventually I did find the perfect sound, and I'm proud to keep it in the final edit of the song.

I'd just like to finish by saying a huge thanks! I know I say it in every release, but like... what the fuck! You guys smashed it with 'Want You', on SoundCloud we hit over 16.5 thousand, and over 250 likes. This is a huge milestone for me, and I wanted to thank you all. Not even talking about how well it did on Spotify too and how much you streamed it on there.

Slowly but surely, team VIRDU is growing, and I'm happy to help all you out. Have fun listening to the new song!

After 2 solid months, VIRDU is back with new music on recording label Outertone. 

I took a break from producing to catch up on other aspects of my life, including education. This allowed me to also gain many ideas for new music which will be coming out in the near future. 

This track in particular was something different; it wasn't a progressive or tropical / deep house son, but a future bass one. I knew that I wanted to focus on house music, creating rich melodies and massive drops, but sometimes you just have to roll the dice and throw a wildcard into the mix. I learnt that whilst taking my break. 

In terms of signing this release, it only made sense to put it on Outertone. They've played a huge role in my musical career, taking my music to another level. It had been a while since I last sent them over some original music (The last being "Lights" which was released last August). I felt this song would be perfect for both me and the label. 

I wanted to finally say thank you to everyone who has supported my musical career recently, again I do apologise for the lack of music, but I can promise you there is something big ready to be unleashed! Slowly but surely, team VIRDU is growing, and I'm happy to help all you out. Have fun listening to the new song!

After almost a solid year, the first edition of 'Encore' arrives today, celebrating 2 years of VIRDU Music. 

Encore is my first album I've recorded, with a total of 16 tracks inside. This is by far the biggest thing I've had to do, but overall I'm pleased with how it came together. Combining different styles of EDM, from mainstage progressive house, to future bass, to deep and tropical house, there's a track in there for every sort fo EDM listener out there. 

By far though, this song has to be my favourite. I've never worked with a singer / songwriter before, but I was eggar to get my sounds mixed with some vocals, and I couldn't do it without Nicalah Rose. Her vocals instantly boosted the song onto another level and really completed the track. This is why this song is first on the album. Unlike other singers, she understood the song and believed in it, which is why I believe the song sounds like it does.

The sole reason for the overall album was to celebrate 2 years of VIRDU. In just two short years we've managed to take this soundcloud account to new levels. We've signed countless singes with recording label @outertone, had release after release after release be premiered on the largest streaming platform as of today; Spotify, alongside Apple Music, deezer, amazon music and more also being available. We've managed to get multiple releases air-played on many UK radio stations, the biggest being BBC Radio. Whilst many are still dreaming, we're taking off to new levels and new heights. All this in only two years. 

I don't know what else to say really, apart from thank you. The support I receive is honestly mind blowing. It means the world to me that you guys are supporting my productions, no matter what style they may be. With tracks of mine getting over 15,000 plays, and 250 likes, it blows my mind that I'd be getting anything close to that amount of love.

Two months back, I released my first studio album 'Encore (Vol. 1)', which performed way better than I thought. As an artist I was blown away with all the love and support received from the entire project. That being said, of course some songs performed better than others; the most popular song from the album being 'Open Up Your Mind'

One month into the album, this song had over 10,000 streams counted up over all the stores, which is crazy to think about. It has 100% been my most popular and successful song this year and I'm proud to have it on my album.

So I wanted to do one more thing to do with this song, which was to drop the remixes. I was fortunate enough to have some of my producer friends come and help me out by creating the 'Open Up Your Mind (Remixes)'. 

This is another goal on my bucket list ticked off. Of course, having a single remix is great, but an entire remix EP is amazing! I'd just like to take the moment to thank Soundless, Tri Bass, Craxxxtar and BRGNZR for helping me out with this. Without these guys none of this would be possible. 

So, if you'd like to here all the remixes, make sure to stream them from the first link, but for the time being, here is my remix of Open Up Your Mind. I hope you enjoy it, I opted for a tropical / deep house vibe and really wanted to share more of that style of music.

VIRDU - Escape is out now on all stores! His latest progressive house song is sure to make your party mood come alive

I started the production of Escape after watching Martin Garrix perform 'High On Life' at Tomorrowland. The song really motivated me to get back into the studio, to create more music, and following those weeks, I had a solid foundation for this song. 

I also took inspiration from another Garrix song; Forever. The intro to that song really stood out for me, and so I wanted to do something a little differently, hence why I used a klav. The drop from both these songs were the reason for the overall shape of Escape. I wanted to remind people that mixing organic musical elements into EDM creates something more diverse and special. It entitles both styles of music and blends them together as one.

I was thinking of labels, and whilst at first I thought I'd just end up releasing this solo, I think signing this song with Outertone will really help me get my messages and sound out there. As with every release with them, I have so much to thank with their hard work with getting all my releases out there. Without them I'd be further away from getting my dream than ever.

VIRDU - Escape

VIRDU is a 21 year old House and Techno Producer / DJ from London, who is taking dance music by storm. His music has been signed to labels internationally, allowing his tunes to reach hundreds of thousands of streams and get official playlisted.  

His first single 'Believe' got acclaimed support and was signed to UK record label 'Outertone'. It was picked up by several radio stations, including the world-famous BBC Radio 1. This then led to more signings and more airplay.  

In 2019, his first release was signed onto Dutch label Diepgraven and racked up over 100,00 plays on YouTube, 30,000 on Spotify, and was supported by official Spotify playlists and added to the Lost Frequencies collection. It was played live by DJs all over the world and air played internationally.  

As of right now, he is a touring DJ playing everything from tech house to mainstream EDM. His most recent gig was at the world famous Ministry Of Sound with Defected Records, playing on the same lineup as Sam Divine, Low Steppa, David Penn, Simon Dunmore and Harry Romero.  

Other shows include being booked for Summer Break  
Amsterdam, playing alongside Gorgon City, Shy FX, Andy C, Eli Brown, GW Harrison and Artful Dodger to say a few.
