Soma welcome Glasgow based DJ/producer Secluded aka Hans Bouffmyhre to the label as he debuts with us with his fantastic Mercy EP. Hans has become quite the force in the underground techno scene over the last few years with releases on the likes of Electric Deluxe and, of course, his own Sleaze imprint. With Soma, he brings out his Secluded alias which strips things back with the aim to explore a new techno vibe, inspired by sounds from Berlin & Detroit. Secluded productions are characterised with a deep pounding beat, softened by dubby synth passages and deep soundscapes, creating a gloomy atmosphere. Also appearing on the EP are two peak time Remixes from ROD.

Title track Mercy opens the EP with an old school chord driving this monster from Secluded. Backed perfectly with on point percussion and a quite healthy kick drum, this track certainly sets the tone for the EP  

Pastures takes things on a suitably deeper turn. With a pulsing sub bass rattling through you and a resonated synth line that eerily creeps in, taking the track upwards. Simple yet effect drums work this track straight onto the dance floor as Secluded created a perfect peak time Techno workout.

After his fantastic reworks of Slams Positive Education, ROD is back to bring his unique, old school, jackin’ take on Secluded’s Mercy. Remix One uses the original chord filtered & processed as 909 drums punch in and out to devastating effect. Remix Two loops out the chord sample making this a more hypnotic, looped out jackin techno number.

For its twenty third release Luca Agnelli´s Etruria Beat presents a new V/A, Bud Sampler 3. With tracks from the label finding strong support from the likes of Sven Väth, Truncate, Adam Beyer, Ryan Elliot, Luke Slater, Scuba and many more, Etruria Beat has also been receiving a number of tracks that were simply too good to let go. As such, we've grouped a new selection together for you.

First up we welcome the (almost) newcomer Diego Amura. After releasing a strong Ep for Arts he arrives at Etruria with his powerful track 'Nightfail', powered by a heavy, distorted kick and a dark vocal. 'Flip That Back' is delivered by Avotre’s mastermind Santé, showing his true underground persona with an obscure vocal that will blow your mind. 

Tania Vulcano teams up with Audiohell and Jose De Divina to present, in true DC10’ style, 'Rebound', a track that is already set to feature on DJ Magazine's Ibiza covermount Mix, before the mysterious new duo Reform drop 'We Want It', a no nonsense heads-down techno stomp of the finest order. Last but by no means least we have Anders Hellberg with 'Back to Earth', a track that shows the promising Berlin-based artist is one to watch out for.

Part 1 features 2 remix versions by BEN SIMS; the techno veteran with over 20 years of experience under his belt and known for his energetic mixing skills with his own distinctive blend of tough funk and hardgrooves. Indubitably his productions are marked with exactly this signature style and vision which can be heard on both remixes. On the flipside DANIEL STEFANIK known for his impresssive releases on Cocoon, worked his own magic blending funk combined with trippy dub vibes into the mix.

Following releases on labels like Elevate or Phobiq, which gained support by the likes of Ben Klock, Rodhad, Sam Paganini, Matrixxman and many others, Konrad makes his OFF Recordings debut.

The EP kicks off with 'Made In Detroit', a bigroom chord-techno anthem.

'Acid House' delivers what the name promises, a stripped back beat is topped by a massive acid line and eponymous vocals.

'Temptation' follows a similar vein as 'Made In Detroit' adding a memorable vocal and massive pads in its break.
