This is a concept EP for Manga Academy, an original manga by Jeffanime. Each song covers various scenes in volume 1 of the manga.

This scene takes place on the very first panel.

I wanted to create songs as if this were an actual anime, so that includes an intro, an opening, and some of the background tracks. As this is an EP, each song is pretty short, but I hope each track captures the emotion of the scenes.

I am also doing it in support of the manga. It is a really great story and the art is wonderful. So hopefully this will help to get more eyes on it.

Furthermore, all of the proceeds from this EP will go to directly to support Jeffanime and his work from now until the foreseeable future.

I also had a lot of fun making these as I don't often get to make music for things like this.

SOUNDSHOCK is back to conclude the FM FUNK trilogy. FM FUNK NIRVANA!! brings you 16 new tracks by 19 uniquely talented musicians, from four different continents, using an arsenal of 17 different hardware and software FM synthesizers. 

Although this release marks the end of the series, our hope is that we’ve inspired listeners and musicians enough to carry our message further, and to keep reinventing FM sounds for decades to come! "That is", in the words of Tsuyoshi Shimokura, "not a sad thing." No indeed; rather, we believe this calls for celebration: let’s get it started!

This is heavily inspired by 90s tracker music(Tourach) that was inspired by Images and Words by Dream Theater.

What's a ViRiX?
ViRiX is the Virtually Interfaced Radial Integrator Extension, also known as the Core. It is a fourth dimensional  semi-sentient device that creates art and integrates it with the planet. AKA: My imagination personified. There's an entire story based on it, yeah I had way too much time to think about this.  :P
