GHOSTS OF THE PAST

Everyone is accountable for their actions.  My Villain name is Stone Angel. I may come off cold and harsh, but I will always tell those around me the truth and stick by my integrity.  Sometimes you have to rip the band-aid off and reveal the ugly wounds so that they can be treated.

This is my track for ViewUnity's Villain Within Us album. The theme of this album is not so much about being a villain as it is more about not being pushed around and yielding to others or being people pleasers. A lot of times, if someone is not used to us asserting our individuality and saying no to their requests, they suddenly think of us as mean or uncaring... well, too bad. Nine times out of ten, these are adults we are dealing with and it's time for them to grow up and learn how to deal with things, just like we have to. 

This song's message is actually more spiritually based although it has practical meaning as well. On the spiritual side, it is saying when we follow Christ, we will find wisdom, and that will lead us to the truth. On a practical level, when we use wisdom in general to make decisions instead of our emotions, we will have a much better outcome.
