For a man whose moniker is derived from a simple spoonerism of his name, Barcelona born Sau Poler's music is beautifully complex. Intricate shuffling drums, smooth shining synths, gentle arpeggiators, delicate chimes and warming basslines are just some of the ingredients that make up Sau Poler's sound. Fresh off the back of dropping his self-released Paradoxes Of Progress EP, we tuck into this exclusive mix from the man himself. Embark on a journey and get lost in 54 minutes of grooves.

"During the past months, I've been very fascinated listening to a bunch of underground producers, that kind of "lo-fi tape experimental house" sound, very well defined by labels like Opal Tapes, L.I.E.S, The Trilogy Tapes, Going Good, Latency, etc... Inspired in that way, I build the mixtape trying to oscillate into various genres and keeping that hypnotical feel. From that disco infected house tracks of Jack J and Andres remix, to the blurry minimalesque flavor of Vester Koza or Cloudface, through the Fleetwood Mac's classic edit by Mau. Closing with two beautiful pieces, the ambient passage from MIUAX and the night dreamer "Blackmoon" from the french producer Scan X, a song that touched deeply my adolescence and I've listened for ages and ages."
