Don't Look Up - Marching Band Show

"I can't change, even if I tried, even if I wanted to." This show highlights the unfortunate fact that bullying continues to be a problem, and only continues to get worse as it has become even more difficult for victims to escape the menacing of bullies. Using the song "Same Love" by Macklemore as the musical material, this show presents a sobering, but in the end uplifting vignette of this ongoing societal issue.

Copyright permissions for "Same Love" by Macklemore will have to be secured before show can be licensed.

Without You (Instrumental)

Using the idea of sinking in water as a metaphor for dealing with depression, this show is sure to impact anyone who experiences it. With the gradual sinking to the bottom and triumphant rise to the top, this show would be a great vehicle for exploring a greater and mature emotional palette with your ensemble.

Into The Deep (A Class)

This is a show that is about how children in war-stricken countries are affected by the events that surround them, and unfortunately become enveloped in the horror and atrocities of war. The story is conveyed via prose, that references war being contained in a box. "Bound up with chains and locked with locks, and labeled 'kindly do not touch... it's war.'"

The Box (A Class)

Gargoyles: perched high above, they watch from the rooftops. They've spent hundreds of years in the same place, watching humans go about their lives. But one day, they came to life, and realized that maybe there's something more to their existence than simply being the watchers. In this production, the audience gets to experience everything from the dark, gothic sounds of organs and chanting monks, to the beautiful, heavenly ambiences. Nothing... is Set In Stone.

On the surface, this show is about a group of prisoners on a chain change who break free, in search of physical freedom from the shackles of prison. On their quest to find freedom, they come to realize that the freedom they seek can only be found within. This emotional journey will be a spiritual experience for anyone who gets to experience it.
