Max Chilton, aka https://soundcloud.com/taelimb, was born in 1984 and bred in the heart of South London. A fan of most music genres, Taelimb embraced a number of different styles to influence his own productions. With many releases across a number of labels such as Flexout Audio, Med School and Demand Records, he has transformed from amateur, to becoming one of the listed ‘ones to watch,’ recognised for his unique take on the D&B movement. CNVX welcomes Joe Moses aka ‘Need For Mirrors’ to the label for a release of 4 tracks dripping in 90’s dnb goodness. The Cactus EP throws elements of old Virus and Photek into the mix but retains the NFM sound throughout. 

Coming off the back of his well received ‘Swims’ LP and the more recent Ram Records release, the CNVX EP showcases his production abilities as a producer on the cutting edge while using a sonic palette of yesteryear to devastating effect.

The tracks having heavy support from DJ’s and producers across the board including  Bailey, Doc Scott, Storm, Total Science, Krust, Mark System and label boss Kid Drama.

The track ‘Sumi’ was featured in one of Kid Dramas studio mixes with no tracklisting and had people guessing for a couple of years. Well the wait is over, Cactus EP drops on the 15th of April in all of your favourite outlets.

4 tracks of rawness from Canada’s own RMS. The project sees friends SL8R and Close also collaborate with the Toronto native for this impressive debut. 

Expect a breakbeat excursion from the in your face breaks and bass of “Life Goes On”, the sub low stepper and title track “Butoh” for the skankers, Reggae tinged vibes from  “Scare Dem” and the rolling “Jah Rule”.
