HNTR is an enigmatic figure hailing from the dark corners of Toronto's underground electronic music scene. With over a decade of experience behind him, he has been a pivotal force in shaping the sound of Canada's underground, pushing the boundaries of dance music with his unique, futuristic sound.

He has released on some of the most respected labels in the industry, including Factory93, Armada, and Deadmau5's Mau5trap to name a few. He has also had the honor of touring with the Canadian superstar, and has garnered a reputation as a must-see live act.

In 2022, HNTR made history by winning the first ever Juno award in the Underground Dance category, cementing his status as a true pioneer of the scene. Despite this success, he still remains an elusive figure, shrouded in mystery and intrigue.

At the heart of his sound lies a darkness that is both alluring and foreboding. His music is a journey into the unknown, a soundscape that is at once futuristic and timeless. Zach Montoya and Brayden James met in a science class in college. Brought together by a shared love of live music and production, they formed the electronic duo Syence. Since starting their own experiments with music, they’ve been bending genres in the process of pioneering their sound ever since. The sound today consists of melodic, high tempo grooves as they continue exploring a mix of artists like Odesza, Rufus du Sol, Lane 8 and Fred Again..’s sounds blended into one.

Having hit Spotify's global viral charts & editorial playlists including New Music Friday, the duo continue to grow their dedicated fanbase as they’ve surpassed more than 75 Million streams across streaming platforms.
