Hey guys! This is a follow-up to Forgotten City, a track I made roughly 10 months ago. I created the idea for this song about 6 month ago but didn't do anything with it until now. I feel that this turned out well, maybe better than Forgotten City, although it isn't arranged to loop nearly as well.

Years

This is a two-part composition titled Transit _ These Ways. It's my first track in about 3 months, since I've been too busy to make music lately. I managed to make this pretty fast, though, in only about 5 hours I'd say.

This track has clear inspirations from some of Joe Hisaishi's work. Also maybe a bit Martin O'Donnell. (I actually started on this song right after listening to Never Forget by O'Donnell.)

Feel free to use this for whatever, just be sure to give me credit.

Transit _ These Ways [Creative Commons]

So here's my first thing in almost 6 months. I did actually produce a few tracks between this and Transit, but I wasn't happy with how any of them turned out so I never uploaded them. I've also been working on other things lately and have sort of shoved music production to the side the past half year.

Anyway, here's a short orchestral track I put together.

Sentience

So, it's been almost a full year since I've put anything out there. And for the track I released about 12 months ago, that had a 6 month gap from the previous time I released anything.

So basically, I haven't been regularly putting stuff out there in ~1.5 years.

I really didn't think it would ever get that far. It happened without me even noticing it. I've been working on music here and there, but I would just never feel up to finishing anything. So, I finally got off my butt and forced myself to finish this track.

I really do hope to put more music out there this year than I did in 2016.

Continuum Trees

Unfortunately, the project files for this song became corrupted before I could completely finish it, forcing me to upload an older render. The result is that the ending to this is an old version. I did want to make the ending different, and I had some cool ideas with adding a more formal breakdown, but there's nothing to do now. Oh well.

I owe a lot of this song to the free plugin from iZotope called Vinyl. That's how I got the detuning effects in this song. It's incredible. www.izotope.com/en/products/creat…design/vinyl.html
