This short Chorale Prelude on "Lobe den Herren, den mächtigen König" is entirely played on the Great with a single  Blockflöte 4' stop. We are sure the listener will appreciate, in an extremely clear manner, how Physis Plus recreates and recalculates the sounds in real time each time a key is pressed. The instability of the airflow over the upper lip during the attack transient, creates variable resonances and aeolian tones which are always 'new' and “alive”. This phenomenon that happens in a real organ every time the air goes through a pipe, gives an extraordinary beauty and naturalness to the attack chiff which only the modelling technology can digitally reproduce. Physis Plus takes each organ pipe from a physical-spatial dimension to a modelling-computational one, while maintaining its behaviour and character. 

About the composer: 
Kirnberger, Johann Philipp is a German musician, composer and theorist, student of J. S. Bach. He worked as a teacher in Poland, playing a significant role in the intellectual and cultural exchange between Germany and Poland in the mid-18th century. In 1751 Kirnberger became violinist and chapel master at the court of Frederick II of Prussia. He composed sacred, vocal and instrumental music and was one of the most significant figures in the development of 18th century harmonic theory: his most famous theoretical work is "Die Kunst des reinen Satzes in der Musik" (The Art of Strict Composition in Music, 1774, 1779).

The Fantasy in F minor, KV 608, for organ is a renowned composition by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, written on commission from Count Deym. The piece was intended to be performed on a musical clock located in Laudon's mausoleum.
Structured in three main sections—Allegro, Andante, Allegro—the fantasy opens with a majestic and solemn passage in organo pleno, internally divided into three parts. The Andante introduces a striking contrast, developing a series of variations on a delicate theme infused with Mozart’s signature style. As the Allegro section returns, the piece builds towards a striking and dynamic finale, brimming with vitality and virtuosity.
Thanks to its remarkable expressive depth and richness, this Fantasy is regarded as one of the most beloved and frequently performed works in Mozart’s organ repertoire.

Mozart - Fantasie KV 608 | Viscount Maestro

The partita Sei gegrüßet, Jesu gütig is one of the most significant organ compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach. The melody of the eponymous chorale was also used for O Jesu du edle Gabe, and since the latter consists of eleven stanzas, there is a strong correspondence between the text and the musical language in the variations associated with each stanza. The composition comprises eleven variations, each distinguished by unique rhetorical, rhythmic, and tone color variations that strongly define its expressive character. Due to its remarkable richness and depth, this piece can be considered the equivalent of the Goldberg Variations for the organ.

Bach - Partite diverse sopra: Sei gegrüsset BWV 768

The Fugue on the Magnificat is an organ piece composed by J. S. Bach between 1708 and 1717 in Weimar. The subject of the fugue is the Gregorian melody of the Magnificat. The theme is divided into two parts: while the first section is continuously played across the voices, the second part appears only toward the end of the piece, at the second entrance of the pedal. The work is to be performed Pro organo pleno, a characteristic which, combined with its five-voice writing, lends the piece a sense of grandeur and solemnity.

The term Pro organo pleno refers to a type of registration in which all principal-type stops are engaged, up to the Mixtur. An 8′ reed stop, such as the trumpet, is also included. To enhance intensity and depth, the manuals are coupled, and a 16′ labial stop is often used. The Mixtur, the highest stop in this registration, adds brilliance and clarity to the sound. It is a labial mutation stop typical of the Northern European organ tradition. Historically, the Mixtur derives from the medieval Blockwerk—an organ without stops, in which all pipe ranks sounded simultaneously


Fuge über das Magnificat BWV 733 | Viscount Classic Organ - MAESTRO 60

Published in 1927, Carillon de Westminster is the sixth piece in the third suite of Louis Vierne’s 24 Pièces de Fantaisie for organ. Inspired by the famous melody of the Big Ben chimes in London, which mark the passing of the hours, the piece traces its origins to an improvisation performed by Vierne in 1924 during a concert at Westminster Cathedral. The work was dedicated to his friend, the London-based organ builder Henry Willis.

The structure of the piece is based on a progressive crescendo: it begins with a pianissimo dynamic and, through the use of the swell box, various manuals, and the gradual addition of couplers and stops, builds to a powerful and dramatic fortissimo finale. Vierne provides precise registration indications, while also allowing for adaptations that respect the unique characteristics of each instrument, as noted in the introduction to the collection.

Since its publication, Carillon de Westminster has enjoyed great success and remains one of the most celebrated and frequently performed works in Louis Vierne’s organ repertoire.
