A steady and fulfilling path has been walked by Means&3rd aka Ben Marsden to get him to the creative space he currently occupies.

A Manchester resident since 2007 his musical education has been nurtured by the city and the experiences that have come with it. First beginning with his musical education, shortly followed by many years of promoting events and culminated in securing a spot behind the counter at one of the UK’s finest record stores, Eastern Bloc Records, where he currently curates the House and Techno sections.

A local favourite and regular of Manchester's White Hotel, Warehouse Project, Soup Kitchen, and the close quarters of Eastern Bloc's very own club night his DJ'ing style has matured over the years to convey a more textured, headier but no less driving vision of techno that is always cohesive within its layers and never struggles to provide a boundless dynamic, especially when given the chance to play extended sets where he truly thrives, a keen intuition developed from over 2 decades of DJing.

More recently he has zeroed in on his production skills with 2021 seeing the launch of his own imprint 'Unveiled Nuance' which will serve as a platform for his own productions and a true introduction to his sound as an artist. After years of meticulous analysis of his craft and the invaluable knowledge gained via the record shop, he has truly begun to sculpt his own sonic identity with a sharp attentiveness to detail.

Born out of an indefinite lockdown in 2021, LSS is a joint project from Naarm-based artists JXTPS and Edward Richards. Drawing on their shared love of complex rhythms, melancholic soundscapes and analog hardware, LSS blurs the lines between hypnotic techno, ambient dub and futuristic electro on Oneiric and EVJT, with transformative remixes provided by Sam KDC and Viels.

silver, grey, and black, and white; while the ever-distant sun, then further still, was slowly
breaking into shining. The town was quiet, gleaming; the rows of tenements – awash with sky.
And we rarely chanced upon a person, save the stocking-wrapped, shadows without bodies,
and that nude and mouthless one. We turned into a narrow lane past the power station,
the mute red lights of chimneys looking down at us. We reached the concrete halfpipe
of the dried-out canalside. And listened out for it. To disappear.

KEEN DISTRESS
Keen Distress is an experimental music project formed by Blazej Malinowski and Robert Matysiak. Their music is a unique fusion of electronic and avant-garde styles that result in a haunting experience. Keen Distress is set to release their debut album, "Overshadowed" in September 2023 on the Inner Tension label. The album features intricate, glitchy beats and atmospheric soundscapes that create an otherworldly listening impression. In addition to their innovative sound, Keen Distress also places a strong emphasis on the visual aspect of their project. The peculiar images (no CGI, just fluids on a microscope slide) that accompany their music were created in collaboration with Cosmodernism.

Piante Vive is a collaborative project that came to life in late 2023, the result of two friends and producers Biocym and Ronsucco, who began making electronic music together, heavily influenced by Milan’s techno scene and their contrasting yet complementary backgrounds.

On one side, Biocym brings a foundation in deep techno, characterized by hypnotic grooves and rhythmic depth. On the other, Ronsucco hails from the Italian trap and hip-hop scene, focusing on melodic structures and atmospheric, ambient elements.
