I wrote this song after spending some intense time with the Lord.  I was then inspired to write these lyrics not only about the price he paid but how that has affected eternity for all mankind.  He will never have to suffer and die again.  On the cross he said it is finished!  His body was never found, because it was glorified.  The enemy would have never had him killed if he would have known what was going to happen.  "Bruise his heel" refers to the serpent (satan) wounding the seed of the woman (Jesus) at his heel, which symbolizes a temporary, non-fatal injury that ultimately leads to Satan's ultimate defeat. It is a prophecy from Genesis 3:15 that signifies Jesus would suffer and die, but his resurrection would ultimately crush Satan's power.

Thank God we have been given the same power over all the works of the devil and he is under our feet also.  Jesus is alive forever more, and this world needs him now more than ever before.  Please like and share this.  I hope and pray that this touches your soul.  Like our other song says, there's no greater love than Jesus who took our place and our sins on himself to bring us back into fellowship with the father.
