A Thomas inspired take on Petula Clark's famous song 'Downtown' using the instrumentation and stylings of 'The Viaduct Theme' from Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends.

I prefer this one to be honest, mainly just for the extra chords at the start and the cheeky little flute flutters, really sets the score nicely.

Something I totally should've included in the YouTube video, I was honeslty ignorant enough to think it was a loop of the 'Dirty Objects' version but it has the tambourine added like the Percy variant.

James Is on Fire! (Series 1)

A brilliant idea commissioned by SplendidRed05, who requested I mash up the famous Back to The Future theme with something 'Thomas' related. I thought Gordon's Theme was the best one to base it on as it's fast paced and very grand.

Track To The Future

The iconic variant of the Runaway Theme from A Close Shave, probably my favorite version of this theme too. The extra strings really add some beautiful tension and I like the fact this one actually ends up with a crash instead of slowing down like Old Iron's variant.

The Runaway Theme - A Close Shave(Series 2)

I beleive this was the first time it was used in Series 2, it's more or less just an extension of the Series 1 version. But the trumpet does play in the higher register at the end if you listen super closely which sounds weird to me, but it is what it is lol.

The Runaway Theme - Old Iron (Series 2)

An extension of all 3 versions of the Runaway Theme from Series 2 into a single mix, using the intro from 'The Runaway' and using the extended and layered verses from Old Iron and A Close Shave.

The Runaway Theme - Extended (Series 2)

Basically my 'extended mix' but shortened and all the extra instrumentation taken out to be more like original version.

Devious Diesel's Theme (Series 2)

Commissioned by Nolan Sheridan, who wanted a Series 6 styled theme for Duck. I don't do a lot of S6-7 stuff but they are rather interesting to work with sometimes, definitely a more classical approach during this era of the show's music. 


Around this time, a lot of the signature themes became a lot more 'smooth' and let the strings and woodwinds provide the rhythm compare to let's say Series 1-4 which still liked to use cabasas to emulate pistons or kick drums to add a punch. While not as appreciated as the shows earlier music, this style of music fits the Gullane era tone perfectly.

Duck the Great Western Engine's Theme (Series 6 Remix)

I've been planning to remaster this theme for a while now, but only had the time to do so recently. I hope you all enjoy it!

The Bad Weather Theme - Series 3 Remix (Remastered)

A mashup of the classic Toby Theme and 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas'. This was an idea that I picked up from some suggestions on Twitter and that instantly put this in my head with how it would sound.

Ok, some of you guys have been suggesting this one and I thought it'd be a cool idea. It was either this version or the Flying Kipper one but... I have an another idea for that but I'll probably do that next Christmas. One of my favorite things about making this one was the chords that just lead into the start of the main theme, with the strings it gives me an inspiration for 'Sudwave' stuff.
