From the jolting rhythms and double-dipped soundbites of 'Dragonfly', to the ascending rollage of 'Neon State', and the Chicago-tinged hat-tipping 'think' breakage of 'Tronic Soul', Kanvas takes you through a trademark sound that concludes with the deep atmospherics and deeper bass of 'Forget The Future'. 

There are echoes of early Jungle, Proto-Dubstep, Chicago House and UKG, but each track transcends the strict limitations of specific genre to forge a fresh inspired dancefloor sound that can only be described as 'bass music'.

For our third release on Vital Sines: we present a single by London-based artist Balofo – two tracks of sublime house chords, sweet vocals, razor sharp beats and deep bass.

Balofo - part of London based collective CPANEL, first began to make bass music and DJ at various London nights in 2010. Originally playing sets focused around dnb and jungle he began developing his ear and expanding his collection playing more varied sets infused with house, breaks, uk funky and bashment. He takes influences from many different genres including funk, jungle, house, reggae, bashment, rock, hip hop and more.
