"The mix is centred around my favourite house tracks. It’s a genre that, for many, seems to be a gateway into the world of underground electronic music, and it was for me. The mix includes some nostalgic tracks I rinsed when I first got a proper taste for house nights in my first year of uni in 2014, as well as some higher energy ravey stuff more in line with my current listening. I rarely mix house these days so it was very fun to do a little (or slightly long!) ode to the genre."

Nalule is a Canadian Vancouver-based DJ & visual artist who is currently studying Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with goals of becoming a registered acupuncturist. She is passionate about creating spaces which incorporate holistic modalities of healing with movement, dance and rave cultures as both spaces are sites of catharsis and wellness.  DJ Nalule oscillates between a myriad of genres ranging from breakbeat, juke, bass, uk funky/garage, jungle , techno, and beyond. Her sets are highly syncopated, dynamic and emotive meant to enchant listeners as they are taken on a transcendental ride. Nalule cites ancestral spiritual practices, mossy forest grounds, and plant medicines as primary sources of inspiration for her mixes. “
