The EP’s title track 'Aurorae' acts as the first dose of Otik's invigorating club-ready cuts. Welding together a series of rising chords and melodies, gut-hurdling kicks, break-neck percussion and delicate vocals, Otik masterfully sets the tone for a highly inviting, yet wildly mysterious journey.

Born & bred in Brisbane. I made the decision to move to Sydney to seek the possibilities of pursuing music. The goal remains to collaborate with amazing people within the community. To make a positive impact through music whether that be through sets, mixes and my own music.

"Making mixes is very important to me, as it is such a cathartic experience for me as is music as a whole. But I find making mixes helps remind me of my love for what I do and how grateful I am for it. Especially if I am feeling a sad emotion, it just helps bring me back to earth. I have a soft spot for music that makes me feel sad yet wanting to move at the same time. That is something I hope to always bring through my mixes and the music I create. I will always, without fail, be listening to music with a euphoric bass that you can feel in your chest, pretty vocal chops, and incredible rhythmic drums that make you wanna dance. There is never a moment where it’s not a perfect time to listen to those kind of songs."
