What happens when two of Brazil’s rising house talents HNQO & Dake join forces with a Detroit songstress Rai Knight? The answer is a dark and corrupting surprise titled ‘Obsessed’. Layered over a wall of chaotic noise ‘Obsessed’ begins with a provocative opening line and a thudding kick drum. Making a departure from her melodic folk routine, Rai Knight’s spoken and sassed vocals lay perfectly bare over the throbbing warehouse bass line and short circuiting snare rolls. Superbly engineered for the afterhours, ‘Obsessed’ guarantees decadence.
