Founded in early 1998, the goal was to consistently put out records that would be loved and played by many in the house music community. Viva Recordings found success with its first debut from Johnny Fiasco and the with Rick Preston's Altruism EP, which gained notoriety when "Spring Fling" was featured on Mark Farina's San Francisco Sessions Vol.1. From these early releases the road was paved for Viva Recordings' success. Over the last few years we have been working on personal projects but now have decided to bring the label back and take the Viva name back. West Coast Weekender is an event production company specializing in travel destinations, warehouse and day time vibes!

An artist who came up as a popper on the dance floors of the Indianapolis and Chicago underground in the late 1990s. His inspiration comes from the many underground warehouse DJs, poppers, lockers and breakers of the midwest and around the globe.
Producer of golden-era hip-hop instrumentals since 2002 coming into the fold mixing hip-hop/downtempo and drum n bass for 18+ years.  With a calling to mix and produce house, he spent the summer of 2022 in Seattle, debuting at Monkey Loft, Timbre Room and Club Mercury. Currently working house and deep house production at his residence in San Diego.
