In a post-apocalyptic context, man can do nothing but flee. Mankind escapes from war and runs away from the city’s destruction. Man distances himself above all from the decadence of interpersonal relationships to which he himself has proceeded, centering his life exclusively on money and on self-interest. So mankind finds himself running away without even knowing where to go, with the fear of being annihilated forever. The dependence on the system made of technology, exploitation and consumerism that he himself initiated and which obliges him to continue to act in the same way, like a human robot among the empty robot machines, in the end completely destroyed him. Man perceives that he has lost the balance of his own nature and that he is out of balance to the point of not being himself anymore. Taking inspiration from the context of a typical sci-fi film situation, I composed “Apocalypse” almost as an exercise in style, to narrate to you in a musically adventurous and risky way the idea of a man out of touch with nature, who desperately  escapes  from  an  unlivable  reality!
