Dagfest [da:g fɛst] is the Swedish word for day party and that is what the duo have dedicated themselves to make - the perfect Dagfest.
With the perfect blend of emotional pop, pulsating bass lines, shiny disco and a 707 the duo transforms the musical journey to a place in the sun.

Members Patricio Cabezas and Mats Lundgren consists of equal parts producers and crate diggers. Inspired by a vast range of synths and a miscellaneous record collection their exposure to a broad musical diet are clearly heard in their dj-sets which smoothly moves the dance floor through different styles. The result is rich and varied sets that always surprises.

Together with the community Gläntan they also throw underground parties, intimate and with house party vibes.

Characterized by a wide range of genres Dagfest is not unambiguous or easy to define. But one thing is for sure, it’s sticky.

Partnering with French label Heavenly Sweetness, Razor-N-Tape delivers the first in a series of EPs by the Brooklyn band Underground System. Showcasing the group’s dynamic global sound, the 3 original songs of the ‘Into The Fire EP’ range from the Afrobeat-meets-indie-disco vibe of the title track, to the raucous and instant earworm bounce of He Said, She Said, and the smolderingly sultry Desnuda. On the B side the original material gets some heavy DJ-friendly reimagining by Detroit legend Andrés, and French don Yuksek, making this 12” both a proud musical manifesto of the new artist-centered direction of RNT, as well as a knowing nod to the label’s devoted fans on the dancefloor.

Maltese producer Melchior Sultana's sumptuous 'Self Reflection' is one of the best house albums in ages, brimming with delicious melody and deep moods. 'Module' is one of my favourites, propelled by a Mr. Fingersy bass throb and a punchy deep techno rhythm, it's awash with hazy synths, lush melody and trippy automation. Excellent.

Lovers rock cover of the 80’s classic complete with killer Dub version, originally released in a very small run of 7”s in 1985. Performed by the late Melody Beecher and produced by her husband Paul Beecher the 7” has been re-mastered from the original two track session tape. Hand stamped in a kraftboard sleeve and limited to 300 copies.

@jazznpalms is a jazz-inspired project from Italian DJ and producer Riccio. Following on from his ace double album Ses Rodes this summer, which was inspired by the original way of life on Ibiza and was mixed by Ben Westbeech, he is now back with a single Milano via @hell-yeah.

The track came about when Riccio heard Piera Martell's 1978 soul Jazz track Exotica in a mix by Phil Mison. He went on to re-imagine the track with new Lyrics and set it in Milan.

The original is a luscious Soul Jazz fusion recorded with some of the islands most talented musicans and it's breathtaking.

Our premier today is the Disco Remix which completely reworks the track for the dance floor with lush chords, hip shakin bass and super funky synths. Top it off with subtle but classy percussion and they have delivered a timeless jazz disco fusion.
