Winner of the prestigious Voice Festival UK 2013 competition, Vive is a 6-part vocal group who re-imagining the a cappella sound. These young and talented musicians, mostly recent graduates from the Guildhall School of Music, have already worked with some of the finest names in music, including Dame Cleo Lane, Guy Barker and Alec Dankworth. Their run of sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013 received huge critical acclaim – Vive are now one of the hottest vocal groups on the circuit.

Consisting of an uncommon line-up of five guys and a girl, Vive combines tight harmonies and award-winning arrangements to create a contemporary yet accessible sound through their covers and original songs. Taking inspiration from artists as diverse as Take 6, the Real Group, and Ella Fitzgerald, Vive brings together pop, fusion, harmony, jazz, and spirituals to create a unique and uplifting sound-world. The result is “a team that works together to bring great melody to life and lift songs up into the air where they belong” – [The Curator, Instrumental].

As well as winning the final of The Voice Festival UK 2013, they were also presented with the Ward Swingle Award for outstanding originality, outstanding musicality and also best arrangement. September 2013 also saw the release of Vive’s debut full-length album ‘Vive: Deluxe’ on Encanta Records, featuring a collaborative track with sought-after singer/songwriter/producer Oli Rockberger. Future engagements see Vive perform across London and the UK, having recently included multiple performances at the 2013 EFG London Jazz Festival, the London A Cappella Festival as well as Elton John's inaugural 'Home Coming Festival 2014'.

Vive’s aspirations are to do everything they can to help inspire a new generation of music lovers and bring back the freshness of the human voice to the music industry. They also have a strong underlying message of perseverance, self-acceptance and motivation, which they share through their music.
