As an exploratory and nostalgic exercise, I started listening to sad songs as a way to deal with the intense emotions I've had since moving from Chile. It's no coincidence that the common thread was sadness, heartbreak, and nature. I began with Violeta, but discovered new voices and lyrics that touched my soul. I ended up gathering stones, flowers, and sorrows, resulting in this small sonic landscape. The artwork is a drawing I made inspired by the guitarist of Quinchamalí.

"The Sad Guitarist" invites us to immerse ourselves in the turbulent waters of heartbreak, unrequited love, and sadness. The voices of Isabel Parra, Gabriela Pizarro, Irene Belmar, Patricia Chavarría, and Margot Loyola weave a sonic tapestry where nature becomes a refuge and an organic metaphor for suffering.
