Vizual Records presents the first single 'It Iz What It Iz' off the forthcoming full length album of the same name by Joshua Iz featuring vocals by Diz, Joshua Iz's sometimes dj partner and collaborator.

Marking the first time this duo has worked on an original vocal track since 2005's 'Magnificent', 'It Iz What It Iz' is a smooth, sexy, midtempo, electronic affair with definite sing along appeal that will have you humming the super-catchy chorus again and again after your first listen. Diz's signature velvet vocal style is perfectly suited to this enigmatic song about the mysteries of the universe and the importance of the moment.

Complimenting the seductive vocals is a thoroughly modern piece of musical bliss with a prominent arpeggiator line, sweeping synths, sweet harmonies, percussive breakdowns and a deep rolling bassline.

Is it soul, funk, electronica, broken beat, r&b? Probably all of these combined to create something else entirely.

For the remixes, aside from the other new mixes from Joshua Iz, we've commissioned some top A-list talent: Russ Gabriel and JT Donaldson.

Normally known for his more electronic/techno tracks, Russ Gabriel delivers an incredible deep house monster, (the 'Russ Gabriel House Mix') with killer percussion, uplifting strings, sultry keys and a bassline that drops like there is no tomorrow.

The Russ Gabriel 80's Mix delves into more electronic grooves with super-cool retro sounding syncopated keys, reminiscent of early Metro Area but with dope vocals.

Russ Gabriel's DJ Tool is like a missing dub off of a Prescription record with a stepping bass, hot vocal snippets and left raw enough to really work as a mix tool. Yes please.

As C++, one of his many alter-egos, Joshua goes tech for a driving peak-time dancefloor killer. Deep, dubby, electronic techno-house with a full vocal, vocal dub and dub for proper club action.

The Joshua Iz Vizual Dub Mix has been making the rounds on promo since just before Miami this year and finally gets a full release here. Using just a tiny bit of Diz's vocals, this mix is a unique blend of Detroit keys, jacky beats, spaced-out percussive noise and lush strings that will work in a wide variety of house or techier sets.

JT Donaldson rounds out the package with always hot Tilla drums, a quirky disco-esque bassline, sweet harmonizing electro keys and a unique arrangement that brings a whole new vibe to the track. Somewhere between nu disco and house, this mix paves the road to a new musical future, with JT driving the bus.
