Set Theory Quartet

I tried to write something for wood blocks and drum kit. 

Percussion Duet

A first draft of the first part of the final project for a class. The opening A section bit is still pretty skeletal, but I like where the B section (the very obviously different part) is right now. Final piece will be 2-3x longer and, with any luck, a bit more.

The assigned orchestration was cello/piano/bassoon. I'm still figuring out where to put the bassoon bits; right now a lot of the harmonies I want are just in block chords in the piano. 

Fall Final Project draft 1

My final project for my composition class. I think parts of it are pretty good, and parts of it need a lot more work than I could give. Mainly I wish I knew how to orchestrate, because this thing really needs dynamics.
