In 2024, Central Europe is facing severe floods that have affected countries like the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Germany, causing chaos in many regions. Due to heavy rainfall and overflowing rivers, thousands of residents have been evacuated, and the recovery of the devastated areas will require considerable time and effort.

[pl] Powodzie to jedne z najczęstszych i najbardziej niszczycielskich klęsk żywiołowych, powodujące ogromne straty materialne i zagrażające życiu ludzi. Zniszczona infrastruktura, zalane domy oraz zniszczone plony to tylko niektóre z konsekwencji. W 2024 roku Europa Środkowa zmaga się z poważnymi powodziami, które dotknęły m.in. Czechy, Polskę, Słowację i Niemcy, powodując chaos w wielu regionach. W wyniku intensywnych opadów i przepełnionych rzek ewakuowano tysiące mieszkańców, a odbudowa zniszczonych terenów będzie wymagała wiele czasu i wysiłku.
