Ferrry - Algalon

New York City–based producer Ford Scott makes his label debut with four club-ready weapons that fuse deep minimal grooves with high-energy drive. Drawing inspiration from 90s house while adding his own modern edge, Ford has caught the attention of some of the scene’s biggest names with his innovative basslines, meticulous sound design, and relentless dancefloor focus.

The A-side opens with Watch Out, a crafty, rolling bassline paired with sleek, layered synth work and captivating sound design. Next up, Work That Body delivers suspense-filled builds and explosive drops, pairing hypnotic vocal chops with a punchy bassline for a full-throttle dancefloor weapon.

On the B-side, The Message channels 90s hip-hop swagger into a groovy, bass-driven cut with intricate melodic textures and fluid, evolving atmospheres. Closing out the EP, Can’t Sit Down turns up the heat with futuristic synth stabs, a driving low end, and a tightly-wound arrangement that refuses to let the energy drop.

New Yorker Alan Nieves debuts on MÜSE to close the year as he delivers his two-track ‘Chit Chat’ EP.
Based in New York but a name quickly appearing at key shows and venues across the globe, from The BPM Festival to Amsterdam Dance Event, DJ and producer Alan Nieves is a rising name making an impact in the house and tech house scene. With releases to date via the likes of Deeperfect, Wow! Recordings, Roush and elrow Music, the blossoming American has gained key support from the likes of The Martinez Brothers, Erick Morillo and Marco Carola to name just a few, and following his most prolific year to date he now touches down on Dennis Cruz and Eddy M’s MÜSE as he reveals his ‘Chit Chat’ EP.
Opening cut ‘Chit Chat’ engages slick rolling percussion amongst resonant synth stabs and sporadic vocal interjections and coos throughout, before transitioning into the paired-back ‘Third One’, armed with wandering synth lines, organic drum licks and further infectious vocal work.

Alenzex finds himself as a part of the new age wave of DJs, one that is familiar with newly discovered sounds, adapting to the current way of mixing and matching them. What makes of him quite a “misfit” artist is the fact that even if he follows the classical actual path of his approached genres (minimal/tech-house), his side influences come abroad from so many other musical areas. He developed a passion for the Chicago’s old & unique sound, the underground rap songs vocals, different up-to-date electro cuts merged or modified at own will. Currently he is one the resident DJs of database, in the city where he spreads his field of activity, Timisoara, but also had different appearances at The Biggest Rooftop In Town, Rock la Mures, Forward, Adbakum, BlackOut events. He shared the decks with Nakadia, Alex Kennon, Mihai Popoviciu, Giuseppe Cennamo, Lea Dobricic and some others. For the future he’s planning multiple releases as he is also a hard worker producer, labouring on some and will be a support act for artists such as Apollonia, JUST2, Lexlay, only to name a few.
