It comes with the signature of Max Buchalik, who's been shaping Frankfurt’s music scene for many years now. Thanks to the deep connection to his hometown and the artists surrounding him, Max has constantly developed his production skills that now fuel his rising career.

His debut EP “Higher State” released in 2024 turned heads, and his remix for Lauer’s “Don’t Let The Music Stop” on our imprint, truly made waves. Now, we proudly presents Max latest EP: Lucid Dreams.

With “Lucid Dreams”, reality blurs into fiction: a personal dreamscape entwines with the pursuit of perfection. The track soars into cosmic dimensions - timeless and weightless. Driving basslines blend with sparkling synth textures and shimmering pads, crafting an immersive, emotional atmosphere. It takes you on a journey where your feet stay grounded while your mind takes flight - Lucid Dreams become endless!

“Soar and Sway” is a pulsating ode to life - a celebration of constant growth despite the ups and downs of reality. The soundscape ventures through rhythmic percussion and radiant harmonic melodies. At times, ethereal pads take center stage; at others, punchy kicks and sharp hi-hats dominate. Continuously evolving, Soar and Sway radiates a vibrant aura, seamlessly merging energy, motion and harmony.

By teaming up with the charismatic and passionate artists Chinaski and Llewellyn for the remixes both tracks have been infused with fresh perspectives and luminous energy, making the EP shine even brighter.

I think a City Pop styled track has been way overdue, I brainstormed for a bit and went through a couple chord progressions til I finalised on these ones, which have been spread around many City Pop tracks. This time, I wanted something a bit more upbeat compare to the slower ones I wrote in the past which were more 'heartfelty' whereas I wanted this one to ignite a dance and feel more vibrant.

LATO A: King of the Cut - Discomagic

First up is Avion. If Avion means airplane in French we have no doubt where the inspiration from this track came from. It is a high-flying flight through a multi-coloured, old school, disco skies. As always, the producer knows how to build up a 21st century italo vibe sharing meaningful emotions with synths.

Keeping with the aerial theme, the second track, 'Spy In The Sky', spreads its energy with its animated and cosmic basslines and sparkling airey riffs. A sound that carries us away with vivacious synth and full on synth punch.

For the final track Ilya Santana adds his personal touch to Avion, adding layers of space and movement to the track and of course his own particular brand of latin groove.

This one is made the great dj/producer from Milan Mr DJLMP who edited a classic Italian hit from 1989  originally arranged and produced by Mauro Malavasi and turned it into something more balearic and more acid.
