kisses on my skin leave permanent bruises, they hurt,

Although I believe in second chances, true romance and some concept of a God, I still think it's rather odd and a little scary to be determined and alive when I could barely just survive.

So hold me dear and hold me dearly, I only merely dread to be alone, my head and heart, they've grown so far apart, it aches my skin and breaks my bones. if you ponder leaving, please just don't.

I'm only calling cause you feel like a friend, and I don't want this to end no I don't want this to end
So hear me out and hear me well, I'm almost drowning can't you tell. I'm burning in this hell.

So close my eyes, and tell me lies and help me breathe. And hug my soul that's underneath.

I remember all the good times and the bad and all the things that made you sad. Please believe I'm still glad you're on this Earth, and though I wish I'm by your side, I find myself in hiding.

From the people whom I've wronged, whom I long for and I'd die for and the fact they'll never know attracts all sorts of ghosts, between myself and I, it's always you I miss the most
