Omaggio a Carulli

This piece reminds you very much of (especially at the beginning) Study in A minor by Dionisio Aguado. I can explain why.
I have a cousin who studied classical guitar when he was little.. He studied classical guitar for a few years and then he quit this kind of study.
But he didn’t stop playing guitar, sometimes, when he wanted to relax, he picked up his guitar and started to play this study by Aguado.. Now you're wondering.. so why the theme is different?
Once i read that memory, with time, can change.. for example a room that we don't see for many years.. we can remember this room with the bed on the left, but when we go to see that room, we see that the bed is in the middle of the room.. or maybe, we remembered the walls of the room were yellow.. and now are blue.. So, this is unexpected..
The same thing happens with this song.. since my cousin had to learn this song by heart, he doesn’t need the score anymore.
In this case, time passed and the music change form, the original theme turned into another theme, that’s it!
Maybe sometimes, our memory betrays us, but no bad intention.
