An artist pairing that comprises the combined talents of Paul Hamilton & Dylan Deck, “Legacy” showcases the duo’s talents with a full-length album on Suffused Music.

Both seasoned performers and producers, award-winning DJ, Paul Hamilton, has found himself performing on a world stage at some of the biggest events including Ministry of Sound, Godskitchen and One Love in Dubai, while also behind the decks in Germany, Switzerland, India and the UK. In tandem, a production career has seen over 300 credits grace such high-profile imprints as Black Hole, Baroque and ARVA, supported by a leading cast of A-list DJs including Armin Van Buuren, Nick Warren and Erick Morillo. A pair of Suffused Music remixes for Subconscious Tales and Ewan Rill were also notable highlights in 2017. Similarly, Dylan Deck has found himself with over a century of impressive production credits to his name since a 2011 debut for Gee Records. Going on to grace numerous well-known underground dance labels, Dylan has been a regular on the likes of Droid9, Astrowave, Balkan Connection and the best-selling Visceral compilation series.

Together, the Malta based pair have seen their collaborative efforts feature on the three-track “Intensity” EP for Transpecta as Paul Hamilton & Dylan Deck now debut on Suffused Music with their 8-track album, “Legacy”.

Full of trademark rhythmic intensity and a unique melodic thread that meanders across the hour-long piece, “Legacy” is a tour de force. Opening proceedings, “Nachalo” impresses with shimmering arpeggiated sequence and uneasy dark bassline power, before the textured layers and filtered phrasing of “Allium” evolves into a powerful dance floor force with hypnotic motif and counterpoint melody. The driving energy of “Receptacle” and the “Legacy” title track hit their powerful stride in the third movement with high-energy arpeggios and sustained bassline while textured pads and ticking percussive top-lines add rhythmic anchor.

The glorious string melodies and rasping analogue bassline of “Evelyn” is a joy to behold before pausing for breath at a stripped back breakdown, while the aptly titled “Hypnotized” brings tantalising fx and twisted vocal samples to the fore across a buzzing arrangement of twinkling synths modulated chords and powerful low-end presence.

A throwback to the glory days of dance music, “Manumission” hits the listener between the eyes with its emotive chord progression and huge breakdown build, before pads and arps extend into the third movement with ease. Closing the album, “Stara Zagora” introduces a rich rhythmic cadence that is the perfect vehicle for delayed synth motifs to reveal themselves before a massive bassline sequence introduces itself. Meandering synth lines add to the sonic collage in a well-crafted affair.

Creating an impressive body of work on Suffused Music, Paul Hamilton & Dylan Deck’s “Legacy” is secure.

Many thanks to Masi for allowing us to play this mix of unreleased tracks and it's been a pleasure talking to him which could see collaborations in the future.
 Over the years he has developed his own DJ style with influences from techno, electro, deep, and tech house. Against the uniform porridge, he sometimes makes a quick U-turn in the sound and delights the audience with moments of surprise and his cheerful nature. In the Munich scene, he, as the organizer, used the Kaiserwetter Open Air to prove that a top vibe can also be carried by local artists and a strong community, and as the founder of the Bullitt Community, he promotes young talents from the region.

Vladimir Mattiazzi, in art VladimirMatera (mother's surname that identifies the very Italians origins), was born in February 1985 in Borgomanero, Italian town in the Northwest.
From the earliest years of childhood has a passion for music starting to play guitar and piano.

In 1996, at the tender age of 11, with his older brother and supported by the father, have the really first approach to the world of mash-up, bringing home the very first console and starting to buy the first vinyls.
At the same time of the personal maturation occurs musical maturity that sees him identified in the sounds of the "underground" movement called "Exogroove" of the well-known producer deejay Joe T Vannelli.
At later there is the constant presence and participation in the promotion of events "made in Italy" as well as the his continuous to be stimulated and inspired to styles and sounds of nights of the caliber SupalovaClub, Echoes, Colazione Da Tiffany, Samurai, Les Follies de Pigalle and many others that have as their "protagonists" the deejay most emerging in the context Hardhouse of that moment, making richest and articulate their own music libraries.
In the seasons 2008/2009/2010 Vladimir Matera found space to perform in the "privè" of practically all the best clubs Of Milano as Old Fashion Club, Cafe Atlantique, ShockingClub, Queen in Lambro Park, The Beach, Luminal, Tocqueville, Just Cavalli, My Bali Club, etc…

VladimirMatera is currently engaged on the staff "House Of Beat", where him is actively involved in putting at the disposal of the public all the his experience and great capacity for this movement pro-alternative (beginning 2012), close between Piedmont and Lombardy, designed to counteract the tendency of there zone too commercial and which is enjoying increasing success.

Do not forget the collaboration from 2014 to several one-nights with Colazione Da Tiffany, famous and well-known national staff who wanted to include in their big-family the great effects of this eclectic deejay, moreover ready to undertake the way of deejay-producer with his continuous study and updating himself in the approach to the underground music world.
