As always, thank you for lending us your precious ears.

Indeed, many great performances have been recorded, and we are glad to have them. But I think the greatest performances always elude, the camera, the tape recorder, the pen. They happen in the middle of the night when the musician plays for one special friend under the moonlight, they happen in the dress rehearsal just before the play opens. The fact that improvisation vanishes makes us appreciate that every moment of life is unique - a kiss, a sunset, a dance , a joke. None will ever recur in quite the same way. Each happens only once in the history of the universe. - Stephen Nachmanovitch

This very unique trio of music, souls and minds, is Eduardo Castillo's new LIVE project. Eager to expand and build on his musical reach and scope, Eduardo, has brought these very talented friends and multi instrumental musicians together to explore the potential of each of their own immense talents, only to realize, when playing and listening as an ensemble, a very powerful force came alive. Influenced by sounds and music of all reaches of the planet, and Eduardo's decades of electronic music exploration, the frequencies that are produced by this very unique troupe of musicians, are truly on another level of performance and experience.

Once the ancient city of Palenque was abandoned around the 9th century, the thick jungle surrounding it covered its temples and palaces. This vegetation largely protected the buildings and their elements from looting. Furthermore, the fact that the area remained uninhabited, from its abandonment until the colonial period, aided the protection of the site’s integrity.

With decor straight out of a David Lynch movie it seemed appropriate to set the scene with Johnny Jewel's unofficial Twin Peaks theme, the mysterious and sultry 'Windswept' and Martin Roth's 'Analog Guy In A Digital World', his gorgeous hommage to Nils Frahm.
Building through an early hour of deep and mysterious Forest House, with atmospheric masterpieces from Hraach, Satori, Nu and Estray, the dancefloor fills with costumed Space Cowboys throwing shapes in the smokey lasers and I shifted gears into some funky Catgroove before hitting the home straight with some pumping Island Bass. For all the honorary Farmers worldwide this is a set to savour, one of my favourites I've played this year.. keep it freaky!
