Three opuses by Vladimir Hirsch with similar thematic framework, associated with the meaning of the album's name, however of different means of expression:

(I) Symphony No.5 "Axonal Transit", (tracks 1-4; Parts I-IV)
(II) Symphony No.6 "Metaspheres" (tracks 5-10; Parts I-VI)
(III) Hymn (track 11)

(I) "Axonal Transit" - A four-part composition, considered "Symphony No.5" for electronics, strings, brasses and percussion manipulated by integrated techniques, consisting in temporal and spatial variations blending of musical themes with ambient structures in the position of anchoring, however billowing matrix. There are used methods of antithetical, parametric or aleatoric articulation of sub-themes.

(II) 'Metaspheres" - A six-part composition, considered "Symphony No.6" for integrated techniques and sonically manipulated strings with cosmogonic, but replete of dense compressed atmosphere, microtonality and intense insight into amorphic harmonic structures. This is one of Vladimir Hirsch's albums working with the theme of the dialogue between space and detail, cosmos and human. The parallel vertically and horizontally organized chaotic atonal melodic elements contrast with the slow, heavy rhythmical patterns.

(III) "Hymn" - Structural variations on theme of traditional Czech chorale "St. Wenceslas" with the origin in 12th century, in integrated digital and analog sonic form and design of the orchestral instrumentation.

Vladimír Hirsch_Conversive_Katagenesis

Czech composer, instrumentalist and sound designer, integrating contemporary classical, industrial and dark ambient music. His style is characterized by polymodality and using digital technique to enhance sonic means of expression. He is the founding member and leader of Aghiatrias, Skrol, Subpop Squeeze, Zygote, Luminar Ax and Tiria. He was also a member (keyboard player and vocalist) of the 80's experimental post-punk group Der Marabu.
