Fields We Found is a new direct-to-tape project, heralding back to some of the founding techniques of ambient music. Performed live and recorded to 1/4" tape, 'Thanks' utilises the space between its swells of electronic and sampled tones, intertwining layers of charming melody.

PREMIERE // Post Apocalyptic - Ramybė [Liberty Rhythm]

Velvet Rope Crowd Control is a collaboration project between Bryan Hilyard and Andrew J Klimek.

For years we had discussed post-rock and neo-classical collaborations, but this guitar-loop experiment fell into our laps first. Andrew (finally) bought some guitar pedals during lockdown in spring 2020 and recorded a few test riffs. Some time later, Bryan picked through a folder of these and started sampling & morphing them into drones. We both really dug the result and listened to them off and on for the next year. Finally in late 2021, Andrew added new layers and additional processing.
New Years Eve, we each made a beat-driven remix, hoping to release the album at the stroke of mid-night. We couldn't quite pull if off, so the project sat a little longer. In the mean time we were lucky enough to get 2 reworks by Agus aka Warmth.

Great Space album by @sotvorishi & @nirgoona at our ambient / electronic label @secretdomainlabel 

"Humid-rainy, unhurried, slowly immersing "Forest Ambient" with its own interior space. Generally the atmosphere hangs in a kind of vacuum is often replaced by movements on the cell maps of fabulous plants and even takes the listener through the galactic views of these worlds of tranquility, and natural flow of the time. A sound waves, effects, melodies are immersed in the internal theater of intracellular processes during an hour and a half session. In general, an atmosphere of eternity and balance has been achieved in the sound. This album is devoid of excitement and anxiety - it is a funnel, and the essence of Electro-Folk is pacifying sonic voyage on the rhythms of a calmed consciousness at the tip of a needle. The music that describes itself and gives the peace. 💚
