A song called Question mark. It was composed and written in Berlin in the spring of 2012, the original recording, of which here remains my acoustic guitar, was done by Kai Nicolas Theissen the same year, everything else was recorded in Alex's studio in Ziegrastr. Berlin some years later. The electric guitar was played by Leander Reininghaus and the backing vocals were sang by Noura Razzak.

My dear friend Panji and I started playing together on regular, weekly, sessions with a group of friends some ten years ago. At some point we decided we want to take it a bit further and started playing in some local beach bars and restaurants. Then we also decided to record a few songs we had on our repertoire, so we can show it around as a promotional CD, to get some more gigs. This is one of those songs.

This is really local, this song originates from a village of Sovinjak (roughly translated the name would be Owlshouse), about 20 km from where I live and half of that distance from Panji's place.  It is by far the closest originating song of all that I know, and I really do know a lot of folk songs. The first I've heard was a version sang by Lidija Bajuk  some 25 years ago. Since then I've heard a few more versions, mostly sang by female choirs.
