Thomas Hoffknecht ist von Kopf bis Fuß vollgepumpt mit Detroit Techno. Dies kann man deutlich bei seinen treibenden Sets spüren, die jede Clubnacht zu etwas Magischen machen. Der in Hamburg geborene DJ und Produzent hat es nicht zuletzt mit seiner „Antaris-EP“ auf Drumcode auf die USB-Sticks der angesagtesten DJs weltweit geschafft und sich mit seinen zahlreichen weiteren Produktionen bereits ein gewisses Standing in der Szene erarbeitet.    

 Auf seinem eigenen Imprint STRGHTx veröffentlichte er kurz vor Weihachten eine neue EP, gemeinsam mit fantastischen Künstlern wie Pan-Pot oder Juliet Fox. Alles in allem ist er als DJ sehr breit aufgestellt. Er hält beispielsweise erfolgreiche Masterclass oder vertreibt seine eigens kreierten Samplepacks.

🔴 Episode #37 feels electrifying as it comes with a blessing from one of the Techno Godfathers. There are not many other Techno music heroes like DJ Rush for us! We totally agree with Daft Punk and their track “Teachers”, considering Rush a hallmark in the industry. Having his support really means the world to us (remember his “Let Me Here You” on Supporter Series Vol. 003?).
Now he also recorded an energetic DJ set exclusively for our podcast series, proving once more why his name is synonymous with the original and real Techno!

Since the nineties, I have been immersed in the world of music, using dance as my pathway to mastering the rhythm and energy that captivate audiences. My passion for entertaining took a significant turn when I embraced the art of DJing. This commitment was further solidified through rigorous professional training at the prestigious Musartedo school in Prague, where I honed my skills in both production and DJing.

Since 2021, I have actively performed at musical events across the Czech Republic, showcasing my talent and engaging diverse audiences. My dedication to my craft earned me first place in a DJ contest organized by @blackoutevents in the techno genre, which led to my membership with them. I regularly electrify the decks at clubs throughout the Czech Republic, particularly within the vibrant Prague scene.

In 2023, I made history as the first Czech DJ to graduate from @pointblankmusicschool in Ibiza, specializing in music production and DJing. My preferred genres—tech house and techno—reflect my commitment to pushing musical boundaries and crafting unforgettable experiences for my audience.
