Dan the Automator Playlist

'Bombay The Hard Way - Guns, Cars & Sitars' is a great album, a Bollywood soundtrack re-worked by DJ Shadow and Dan The Automator, I recommend it highly.

I'm amazed how well these songs fit together.

A very old mashup that always irritated me before, the chorus in 'Buck Buck' ("Buck, Buck, Buck, Yeah, I let the lid out...") felt out of place.

Finally gotten around to remaking the mashup in Ableton Live and was able to cut it to my liking.

Discovered in May 2008, this version created in November 2023.

Very proud to present a remake from scratch of one of my oldest mashups. It's always been a favorite of mine but there were mistakes in the live mix and the sound quality was a bit poor.
