Mike Dred Playlist

I learned to beatmix after seeing Richie Hawtin DJ in Copenhagen (at Pumpehuset) in the summer of 1993.
He played a super minimalistic set, and it was the first time I could basically hear every (beat)mix the DJ made, since most of the songs were just one sound and a few drums.
When I got home to Sweden I started to mix immediately, and something clicked in my brain and I was able to hear if the new song was too slow or too fast and adjust.
 I remember mixing the Universal Indicator records since they were also quite minimalistic so it was easier to hear if it was in the right BPM.

DJ vmood - Pacal F.E.O.S. (Technique) vs Universal Indicator (Psychic Turbulence)

I've loved 'Polynomial C' since I first heard it in 1992, but back then I didn't like Breakbeat at all and wished he'd just done it as a straight four to the floor Techno track instead.

This is my attempt at that with the slightly chaotic Mike Dred track 'Psychich Turbulence'.

Discovered in June 2008, this version was created in Ableton Live in September 2011.
