Vnderstand es el nombre que da forma al proyecto del artista Español Aikus en la busqueda de nuevos sonidos techno, propietario de Vnderstand Recordings.

Empieza su carrera a los 17 años influenciado por artistas clásicos como Mark Broom, Technasia, Mod3rn o Ben Sims.

Bajo este AKA recoge y mezcla las influencias de sonidos Dub la cual transmite como pura energia en la pista.

Su sello Vnderstand da cabida a artistas techno del panorama nacional  y le da la oportunidad de hacer showcases en eventos como ADE Amsterdam y tocar en otros clubs como Fabrik o Gare Porto.

En esta edición de MUTTED RADIO apostamos por dar a conocer a un joven talento granadino asentado en la capital cuya pasión y constancia en su trabajo de estudio serán las claves de su crecimiento. Hoy conocemos a Momēntum.

Yasin El-Shohoumi es un joven dj y productor de Granada que despertó su interés por la música a muy temprana edad y desde entonces siempre ha estado muy vinculada a ella. 

Comienza tocando profesionalmente el piano durante 11 años desarrollando el sentido de la musicalidad y el oído. Más tarde descubre diversos géneros de música electrónica que le llevan a tener sus primeros tratos con el mundo de la producción.

Está influenciado por artistas como Moddullar, Nørbak, Temudo, Osse, Reeko, Notzing, Tensal, Sciahri o Abdulla Rashim, entre otros.

Debuta oficialmente como productor en el sello madrileño Vnderstand Recordings tras un año de producciones “a la sombra”, donde tiene el placer de firmas dos tracks en un álbum formato VV/AA. Próximamente verá su música en otros sellos nacionales como MFM Records.

Como Dj debutó en su ciudad natal Granada en diversos clubs locales y pretende retomar las cabinas cuando pasemos esta situación producida por el Covid-19.

The exclusive guest mix in the second hour is from Dantir, which is the solo project of Justin Whedon who goes back to the mid 90’s rave scene. He produced tracks as Ebon and has remixed Ladytron, BlueRoomProject, Femme Fatality & My Life. His music was charted by the likes of Steve Lawler & Satoshi Tomiie and was also included in high profile mixes like James Zabiela’s ‘Sound in Motion’.

The guest mix in the second hour is from Amadeu Pretto who is from Brazil . He started DJing when he was only 15 and he takes his inspiration from Sasha and John Digweed. He was a trance DJ initially but now plays mixed genre sets.
