Audio Space, იგივე ნიკა შენგელია, Mzesumzira Records-ის ყველაზე ახალი წევრია. 
მისი მუსიკალური მოღვაწეობა 2012 წლიდან დაიწყო, პროექტით „Envelope Code”, რომლითაც რამდენიმე წლის განმავლობაში საკმაოდ მძიმე და ჰიპნოტურ ტექნო მუსიკას ქმნიდა. ამ სახელით აქვს გამოშვებული ორი EP გერმანულ ლეიბლ - Krata Records Substratum-ზე.
2015 წელს ნიკამ გადაწყვიტა, რომ ამ დროისთვის უკვე დიდი ცვლილებებისთვის იყო მზად და შექმნა სრულიად ახალი და განსხვავებული პროექტი „Audio Space”. ამ პროექტით მან მიზნად დაისხა გაეფართოვებინა მუსიკალური დიაპაზონი და ნაკლებად შეზღუდულიყო ჟანრული ჩარჩოებით. Audio Space ქმნის მელოდიურ და მსუბუქი ჟღერადობის მუსიკას. მისი ძირითადი მუსიკალური მიმართულებებია House, Deep House, Disco და Minimal.
ამჟამად მუშაობს ახალ EP-ზე Mzesumzira Records-ისთვის და ახალ ალბომზე, რომელიც 2018 წელს გამოვა.

Audio Space, aka Nika Shengelia is the newest member of Mzesumzira Records. He started his musical career with the project Envelope Code in 2012. The two EP which were released as part of the project by German label Krata Records Substratum were mainly heavy and hypnotic techno. In 2015 Nika realised he was ready for major changes and created a brand new musical project Audio Space which he used to broaden the musical range and not to be limited to a particular genre. Audio Space creates melodic and light sounds, which can be labeled as House, Deep House, Disco and Minimal. Currently he's working on a new EP for Mzesumzira Records and on his new album which will be released in 2018.

Lobster Theremin ambient sub-label Lobster Sleep Sequence announce their double LP + 7” album from Dutch producer nthng - featuring a limited run of copies on deep green vinyl.

Themed around events in the artist's life, Unfinished is a deeply personal journey, yet there’s something very relatable to the world he has conjured. Lockdown has forced us to look inward, explore realities within ourselves and the fragility of our forgotten world. The album is a series of peaks and troughs - hopeful words, ominous tones and other-worldly soundscapes, giving way to a journey in no way linear - but a true reflection of our times.

The title track sets the scene perfectly, while Son features deep bass notes, dreamy keys and spoken word - creating a visceral and unsettling scene. Subnautica resides in the fringes of ambient and techno - as tribalistic drums are suspended in our new rendered reality.

The marching bass and howling synths of Wrath of the Demon lull conspicuously in a vacuum, while the hauntingly beautiful vocals featured on Disappeared But Not Forgotten evoke a poignant, powerful reaction across the record’s B-side - “Everything stopped, you just disappeared...”

At its most tranquil Our Time offers a sense of rest - a space to appreciate, as we leave the window open, peer outside and feel the gentle breeze brush across our face. Saafe continues this theme, and feels like a warm embrace - “She saved my life in a matter of speaking, when she gave me back the power to believe.”

Ending Theme is beautifully organic as you hear the sound of the piano pedal touch the floor, tones are introspective and vulnerable - while the looming presence of uncertainty subtly takes form in thinly layered pads.

The album also sees the release of a digi only bonus track Only a Flash of Light and invites you outside while the stars are at their brightest.

Vodkast Records is made of a record and audio shop, DJ mix series, club nights, and a record label from Tbilisi.

It started in 2010 as the first DJ mix podcast by Gio Bakanidze - our friend and one of the pioneer DJs in Georgia. Before Gio's tragic passing in the same year, six podcasts have been recorded by Georgian DJs posted as ‘oldies’. Vodkast has been re-launched in 2011 by Gio’s friends through posting weekly DJ mixes of local and foreign artists.  Since 2012, Vodkast club nights are being held across various clubs and festivals in Georgia, among them the lovely 4GB - annual dance gathering as a tribute to Gio, which has been growing ever since Gio's friends launched it in 2011.

Later in September 2015, Vodkast Records - a vinyl record shop opened its doors in Tbilisi and restarted the underlying culture since its disappearance from the recent past. Same year saw the first release of Vodkast record label which was followed by couple more limited vinyl releases of local musicians. 

We are grateful to all of our friends, artists, listeners and everyone who has supported Vodkast throughout the years.
