Again subtle changes to this little song from older times, Im only allowed to work on it on your birthday so its a slow one -)
I hear little details better now - Duno if thats better or worse but here it is- and colour coded so its easier to add more changes later ...

We agreed time is up for some changes lets hold eachother to that - congrats again and big love.

Når Quincy Jones og Michael Jackson kunne få Bruce Swedien til at mixe Billy Jean om et hav af gange for tilsidst at vælge mix 2 til den endelige version, ja så har jeg det fint med at gå tilbage og tage en af de gamle versioner og lægge ud, simpelthen fordi den passer bedre til sangen og det jeg havde gjort i min bearbejdning af nummeret flere år efter det var lavet, var ikke noget der gjorde det bedre men maskerede enkelheden og styrken i sangen.
Så her er en sang der har været rigtig længe undervejs og findes i et utal af versioner...

This is (one more) song for my wife. This one I work on a little diffrent, as I wrote it on her birthday last year and are only allowed to work on it on her birhtday :-)
Its a catchy little tune and next year I may try not to compress the piano at all ...

Todays your birthday 3-16

Her er en gaaammel Niels sang i nye klæder, oprindelig en halvtrist tekst til den glade melodi. Den blev aldrig rigitg go men jeg kom i tanker om den forleden og det endte med at blive som jeg kunne tænke mig. Ka du li italiensk :-)
For de teknisk interesserede er noget af trommerne lyde fra det klassiske roland trommemodul TR 707, som nu kan downloades og puttes i sampleren. Jeg betalte flere tusind for den maskine der er long gone, men der er nu noget over den lyd ...
Here is an oooold song by Niels in new skin, the original had pretty sad lyrics and the same happy tune. It never worked but it came in my head the other day and it turned out like I wanted it to. Do you like italien :-)
If you are technically interested you may enjoy the fact that part of the drum sound is samples from an old TR 707 roland drum machine, which also were featured on the original song. I found the samples on the net, the tr 707 are long gone but theres somethin about that old sound ...

School is over 5a lim

For en del dage siden  var vi lidt fjollede og løb en tur midt om natten, hånd i hånd tror endda det var på bare tæer og asfalt, men det var en befriende handling ovenpå en af de desværre mange dage hvor det min hustru kan er alt for lidt i forhold til hvad hun kan. Latteren og smilene sad i mig dagen efter og det, samt min meget store kærlighed til min hustru udspringer sangen af og forhåbentlig afspejler det sig i de toner du hører.

Some many days ago we were rather childish and went for a short run in the middle of the night, hand in hand, after one of the many days where what my wife are capable of are very much overwhelmed by what she cant do. The laughter and smiles were in me the next day, and the song came to life from my big love for my wife, and these 2. Hopefully it shows in the sounds you hear.

Heres the latest little tune from the bedroom studio. It started life as a piano/drum thing and lived on my harddisk for several years. Then i wrote this lyric and somehow remembered the tune and thought it would fit. It did :-)  A lot of thoughts and work has been put into this to make it simple yet big, and i hope you enjoy listnin as much as I did makin it. You may listen to the lyrics too :-)
