On 11 June 2012 administrative law judge Ken S. Welsch delivered a scathing assessment and firm verdict in regard to OSHA's case vs SeaWorld. The investigation, and subsequent ruling were triggered by the tragic brutal killing of trainer Dawn Brancheau on 2.24.2010. Since that time killer whale trainers have not gotten into the water for shows. This verdict could have major consequences for marine parks that have killer whales.
